Questions about the book

What it covers, who it is for, what comes with it, and the things people ask before they buy.

What is Get Recommended by AI about?

It is a practical system for making your business the one AI assistants name when someone asks who to buy from. It covers three layers in order: letting the right crawlers reach you and making your identity unambiguous, writing so a machine can lift a clean answer from your page, and earning the third-party mentions that decide evaluative answers. It closes with measurement, because AI answers vary run to run and have to be read as rates.

Who wrote it?

Ronnie Huss, founder of SearchScore. The scoring system in the book is the one running in production behind SearchScore's audits, and the figures come from the same corpus of 1,000,000+ analysed websites.

Do I need to be technical to use it?

No. It assumes no technical background. Where a job genuinely needs a developer, the book says so and gives you the exact instruction to hand over, so you are never stuck guessing what to ask for.

How long is it?

219 pages in paperback and hardcover, 221 in the Kindle edition, across eight parts and 36 chapters. The two page counts differ because they are different editions rather than because anything is missing.

Which edition should I buy?

The Kindle edition is the cheapest way in and its links are tappable, which is useful because the book references a fair number of sources. The paperback and hardcover are the ones people annotate and keep on a desk. Every edition carries the same access code for the toolkit.

What is the access code for?

It unlocks the digital toolkit and twelve months of visibility tracking at searchscore.io/unlock. The code is printed in Part 8. See the reader toolkit for what you get.

Is the tracking really free, or is it a trial?

It is twelve months, included with the book, with no card required to start. It is not a trial that converts silently.

Is this the same as SEO?

It overlaps and the goal is different. SEO competes for a position in a list of links. This competes to be one of the two or three sources an engine uses when it writes a single answer. A site can rank first on Google and never be named by ChatGPT, and Chapter 4 explains the mechanism that causes that.

Will it be out of date in six months?

The specifics move, so the references and any figures that have shifted are maintained online at searchscore.io/the-book/updates, alongside a corrections list. The three-layer structure is more durable than the detail: crawler access, extractable content and third-party corroboration have been the levers throughout the changes so far.

Does it work outside the UK?

Yes. The method is not geography-specific and the engines behave the same way. The data behind it is drawn from a global corpus, and some of the worked examples are British.

Is there an audiobook?

Not at present. Kindle, paperback and hardcover are the three editions.

Can I buy it outside Amazon.co.uk?

Yes. An ASIN is the same in every Amazon marketplace, so you can take the code from any of the links here and swap amazon.co.uk for your own store.

How do I get a review copy?

Email hello@searchscore.io with where the piece will run. The press kit has the assets and the quotable data.

Still deciding?

Read Chapter 2 first. It carries the argument the rest of the book rests on.
